Ariel had awaited to see another human arrive by the Atlantic Ocean. ‘Who could this person be?’, she wondered. For her curiosity, she wanted pop out of the water, to see how unfamiliar citizens would react– when they first encounter with a mermaid. Were they really that bad? She had begun her surprise with a… ❝ Hello! ❞
Aladdin flapped his arms around, which only moved him about an inch or so. He sighed, frustrated, and still not used to the bubbles coming out of his mouth when he did. “Come on, Genie, this isn’t funny.” He turned his head sharply when a voice answered—but it certainly wasn’t Genie. It was a woman—from the waist up, with red hair, but instead of legs she had a tail instead. A mermaid.
“Uh, I can’t really swim…” In his defense, he hadn’t really needed to know how to swim. There weren’t all too many opportunities for it in the desert. “I’m not really from around here…” That was stating the obvious—he probably looked silly trying and failing to make use of his new appendage.

Genie? How did he– Ariel figured it out after a few seconds. From what she had witnessed earlier, his sudden change from legs to fins was because of magic. She reacted by a giggle. ❝ I could see that! Just follow my lead! Don’t worry, I won’t take you anywhere dangerous– yet! ❞ Her rosy lips formed into a wide smile.
The redhead was actually happy to find a non-animal companion by her side. She absolutely had no idea where her friend Flounder went. Before they swam under the sea, she introduced herself, ❝ Oh! Uh, my name’s Ariel. What’s yours? ❞
