things you should always tag:

• abuse
• rape
• incest
• assault
• pictures or descriptions of blood
• pictures or descriptions of gore
• cancer
• suicide
• depression
• self-harm/cutting
• pictures or descriptions of horror
• flashing gifs/things that could include epilepsy
• nsfw content

i see this especially  with incest, rape, and abuse. i don’t care if it’s fanart or fanfic, part of your ship or just a discussion, relevant to your character or a signal boost, it should still be tagged, or there should be a very obvious warning in your sidebar that your blog contains these elements and they will not be tagged.

also, if someone asks you to tag something? don’t be a dick about it. don’t say ‘i don’t see how it’s triggering’ or some shit, because that’s rude and insensitive and a fucking prick move.
